Simulcasting and Gaming resume on Saturday. Gates open at 11:00 a.m. Gaming remains open until 4:00 on Sunday morning.
Oaklawn's popular Twin Quin game will be offered again on Friday November 27. Players will be competing for $492 plus all the day's entry fees.
The football telecast of the game this Saturday, November 21, between Arkansas-Mississippi State, will be shown in the simulcast areas, including Signals, on the infield Videoboard and in Pop's Lounge in the Gaming Center. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:20 a.m.

Stall Allocations Complete; Horses Arrive This Week

With nearly 3,000 horses on applications awaiting him, Oaklawn Park racing secretary, Pat Pope, faced the difficult task of sorting out assignments for the 1,500 available stalls in the Oaklawn stable area for the live 2010 racing season, which begins on Friday, January 15.The track’s stable area will open to receive horses on Monday, while training begins on November 23, one week from now.

Summer Bird, the leading contender for champion three-year-old male, will run in the mile-and-an-eighth Japan Cup at Hanshin, trainer Tim Ice told Daily Racing Form this week. Ice said an invitation has been accepted to run the colt in the December 6 race, which is held a week after the Japan Cup on turf.
