Winning Wednesday Slot Tournament

• Eligibility

  Guests must be an Oaklawn Rewards Member. Membership is free to anyone 21 or older with valid identification.

• Tournament Entries
  • Guests will receive 1 free entry every Wednesday.
  • Guests will receive 1 entry for 25 points earned on their Oaklawn Rewards card every Wednesday.
  • Points earned one Wednesday cannot be rolled over to the next Wednesday.
  • Maximum of 2 entries for each guest every Wednesday.
  • Point earning begins at 6am and ends at 6:50pm every Wednesday to meet registration.
• Tournament Registration
  • Wednesdays, 3pm – 7pm at the tournament area in front of Pop’s Lounge.
  • Guests may get their entry tickets from Player Services. Afterwards, guests can take entry tickets to the registration area to get assigned session times.
  • Oaklawn Rewards card and valid ID are required to register.
  • Eligible guests will be issued a registration ticket with a session time (or two if applicable).
  • Session positions are limited and are first come first served.
• Tournament Play
  • Wednesdays, 4pm – 8pm
  • Session play is for 2 minutes. This is a session style tournament.
  • The tournament has max of 240 guests, with a maximum of 24 sessions. Each session may have a maximum of 10 guests.
  • No rounds will be conducted after 8pm.
• Scoring
  • After each session, the registrant’s score will be tallied.
  • The scores will be displayed on a tally board above the machines after each session.
  • Only the top score per guest will be kept for all sessions played. (i.e. If the registrant plays 2 times, we will keep the top score of the 2 sessions per day).
  • The top 20 highest scores every Wednesday will win free play prizes.
• Awarding of Prizes
  • Each Wednesday, after all scores have been properly tabulated, the promotions team will begin to announce the Top 20 tournament winners. Beginning with 20^th place and advancing to 1^st place, winners will be called in increments of 5 at a time.
  • Session winners do not get any awarded any prizes.
  • All 20 winners will be paid in free play.
  • Guests do not have to be present to win.
