$1 MILLION POWER WHEEL

• ELIGIBILITY
  • Guest must be an Oaklawn Rewards Member.
  • Membership is free to anyone 21 or older with valid identification.
• ENTRIES

  Free Entry

  • Guests are eligible to receive 1 free entry ticket each day throughout the earning period (April 1 – April 27)

  Earned Entries

  • Entries may be earned starting April 1 at 6:00am – Saturday, April 27 at 8:00pm.
  • 20 points = 1 entry ticket up to 7 tickets per guest per day.

  Entry Activation

  • Free entries must be activated each day by swiping their Oaklawn Rewards card at any swipe station inside the casino.
  • Earned entries must be activated by Saturday, April 27 at 5:50pm.
• WEEKLY DRAWING WINNER SELECTION
  • Starting at 7:00pm, the promotions team will draw 20 guests to the promotions area.
  • Each guest will spin the power wheel in the order that they were drawn.
  • There are 20 spots on the wheel, all containing various free play amounts.
  • Each guest will spin the wheel 3 times.
  • The wheel must do 4 revolutions in order to be considered an eligible spin.
  • If they do not win the place in the top 5 scores, they will win $150 in free play.
  • The top 5 scores of the night will receive a qualifier spot for the Finale on April 27 and $250 in free play.
  • After all 20 guests have spun, the promotions team will announce the Top 5 scores. Beginning with 5^th place and advancing to 1^st place.
  • Guests will have 5 minutes to make their way to the promotion area.
  • If there is a no show, replacement names will be drawn until all qualifier spots are filled.
  • Replacements will have 2 minutes to make their way to the promotion area.
  • Guests can only qualify once for the finale.
  • If the guest is already qualified for the finale, the guest with the next highest score will be called for the qualifier spot.
  • Guests can only win the grand prize on April 27, 2024.
• WINNER SELECTION – FINALE
  • From 6pm-8:15pm, every 15 minutes the promotions team will draw 2 guests to the promotions area.
  • Each guest will receive a qualifier spot for the Finale at 9pm.
  • Guests will have 5 minutes to make their way to the promotion area.
  • Replacements will have 2 minutes to make their way to the promotion area.
  • At 9pm, the promotions team will call back all 40 qualifiers (20 guests from the weekly drawings and 20 guests from the finale drawing) to spin the power wheel.
  • If there is a no show, replacement names will be drawn until all qualifier spots are filled.
  • Guests will spin in the order that they qualified for the Finale.
  • Guests will spin the power wheel three times for a score.
  • The wheel must do 4 revolutions in order to be considered an eligible spin.
  • Guests will be paid out in free play or cash depending on their score.
  • If the guest’s three (3) spins land on $350 each time, the guest will win the SCA covered prize such as $1,000,000. *
  • If a guest hits the grand prize* then the promotions team will set the guest aside. The guests will no longer be in the top 5 scores and the 2^nd place to 6^th place winners would be moved to the next highest place on the scoreboard.
• FINALE GRAND PRIZE

  FINALE WINNER PAYOUTS BASED ON SCORE*

  • 1^st Place - $10,000 Cash
  • 2^nd Place - $5,000 Cash
  • 3^rd Place - $2,500 Cash
  • 4^th Place - $1,500 Cash
  • 5^th Place - $1,000 Cash
  • 6^th – 40^th place - free play based on their 3 spins combined.
  • *Top 5 scores will not be paid out the free play from their spins.

  $1 MILLION GRAND PRIZE

  • In the event that a guest hits the $1,000,000 prize, the third party (SCA Gaming) forms must be filled out. Oaklawn will submit the forms for payment. The grand prize is payable in equal annual installments over 40 years. The winner can designate a beneficiary, trust or estate account as long as instructions are received from the winner or power of attorney.
• DRAWING NO-SHOWS
  • All guests MUST be present to win.
  • Guests have 5 minutes to make their way to the promotions area to claim their prize.
  • We will continue to draw winners from the physical drawing until all prizes are given away.
• MISCELLANEOUS

  TIE BREAKER (WEEKLY AND FINALE)

  • In the event of determining the 5th score, if guests have the same score, a tie breaker will be initiated.
  • Guests will spin in the order they originally spun.
  • Guests will then spin one additional time each. The guest with the highest score will win the tie breaker.
  • Guest will not win additional free play from the tiebreaker.
  • Tie breaker spins do not count towards the SCA insured prize.

  ALTERNATE SPINNER

  • In the event that a winner cannot spin the power wheel due to physical inability, the guest may verbally designate a guest of their choice to spin for them. The replacement cannot be an Oaklawn team member.
