Chief of Affairs capped off a huge weekend at Oaklawn Park with a dominating performance in Sunday’s $75,000 Hot Springs Stakes that equaled the stakes record time of 1:08 2/5 for six furlongs. Trainer David Whited, a former top jockey at Oaklawn, went from having no stakes wins as a trainer at his home track to having two within a 24-hour period when Sanders Brothers’ All About Allie made a front-running score in Sunday’s $50,000 Rainbow Miss for Arkansas-bred 3-year-old fillies.
