One of the top sprinters at this year’s Oaklawn meeting, Ivan Fallunovalot, returns to action in the $75,000 David M. Vance Sprint Stakes Saturday at Remington Park. Hall of Fame jockey Calvin Borel retains the mount on the gelding, who drew post 3 for the 6-furlong race. Probable post for the Vance Sprint is 9:20 p.m. (Central).

Champion Take Charge Brandi emerged in good order from her disappointing comeback race in the $500,000 Test Stakes (G1) for 3-year-old fillies Saturday at Saratoga, Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas said Monday morning. After leading for a half-mile, Take Charge Brandi wilted in the stretch and finished last of 10, beaten 24 lengths, in the 7-furlong race under Luis Saez, who wrapped up on her late.

Take Charge Brandi drew post 4 for the $500,000 Test Stakes (G1) for 3-year-old fillies Saturday at Saratoga, which will mark the champion’s return to racing. The Eclipse Award winner as the country’s champion 2-year-old filly, hasn’t started since winning her 2015 debut in the $100,000 Martha Washington Stakes Jan. 31 at Oaklawn.
